Rick Gean
Rick Gean is the President and Founder of Pilot Financial Communications Network, Inc. Mr. Gean has an extensive background working with emerging growth companies in many capacities since 1979.  Mr. Gean has worked with several companies, both public and private, to raise capital and assist in corporate development. 

He started his career in public accounting in a local CPA firm where he was exposed for the first time to many aspects of the special issues faced by entrepreneurs in small fast growing companies.  Prior to forming Pilot, Mr. Gean was self employed as a financial advisor working with several emerging growth companies, assisting in capital formation, marketing, and operating strategies. 

In recent years Mr. Gean has worked in corporate finance with a subsidiary of a California based venture capital firm, specializing in providing corporate finance and accelerator services to start-up and emerging growth companies.  Mr. Gean has also served as the Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for a regional investment banking firm, and Chief Financial Officer for a NASD Broker/Dealer. 

He attended the University of Arizona where he studied Economics and Public Management and Arizona State University studying Accounting.


Gary J. Sherman
Gary Sherman has been an active member of the securities and investment banking industry since 1976. He served as a General Partner with the NYSE member firm, Boettcher & Company, where he was involved in sales, management and as Chairman of the firm’s Operating Committee. As the Regional Director and Senior Vice President of Kemper Securities, Mr. Sherman moved to Scottsdale, AZ where he is currently a resident.   He was the President and Co-founder of a Registered Investment Advisory firm in 1990, Owen-Joseph Asset Management, and subsequently the President of W. B. McKee Securities, a public company, from 1994 to 1999 during which time he was involved in the successful underwriting of a number of Initial and Secondary Public Offerings. 

His experience includes serving as an officer and director of several public companies.  The largest company was a national importer, which distributed products to over fifteen thousand U. S. outlets.  Most recently, he has headed a consulting firm, the American Business Resources Network, servicing a private client group of business owners.  Mr. Sherman majored in Finance at the University of Denver, completed the SIA Securities Institute at Wharton, and has held most major securities licenses. 


Christopher Hambright
Christopher Hambright has over 17 years of experience in business development and operations within organizations undergoing rapid change and development. He has expertise in corporate branding and go-to market execution, managing channel and client relationships, technology, sales strategy, and communicating critical sales data to upper management. Mr Hambright is experienced with start-ups, reorganizations, and high growth environments and has held key positions with several information technology organizations both public and private.

Prior to joining Pilot Financial, Christopher was Co-Owner and Operator of Orchestrate, LLC a consulting firm working with small and medium sized enterprises in the areas of Sarbanes Oxley compliance, business development and marketing. During this time, he has held several interim Director and COO positions for some of that client base.

Mr. Hambright received his B.S. in Business Administration from Delaware Technical in Wilmington Delaware.
